Had the best experience here. Raw fish was very fresh. We had a few different rolls and they were all good. Very good service too. Server was very knowledgeable about ingredients. We were gluten and dairy free and he knew exactly what items had those ingredients and what we could and couldn’t have.

Got the dinner box so that I could try a variety of menu items. Did not disappoint. Dishes felt a bit American-ized, but still tasted good. Tempura was nice and crisp. California rolls were tightly rolled. Wasabi was strong. Dumplings and teriyaki chicken were perfectly done. You can see the chefs prepare the sushi in front of you. The kitchen is visible from certain areas.

I just want to give a shout out to the Oyama staff. They’re super friendly the food is delicious and the portions are definitely comparable to like restaurants. Most importantly their customers are top priority. I have a shellfish allergy and the take all of the steps to make sure there was no contamination to my food. This is the FIRST time I haven’t had to prompt that type of service. You guys are amazing and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I went out to eat here last week with a friend. The food was excellent and the presentation also looked good. I was impressed that our server was still attentive to us despite being the only server and he was serving four other tables besides us at the same time. I really enjoyed their sashimi and sushi and look forward to being back. I was also pleasantly surprised that they had fatty tuna and sweet shrimp. They were out of sea urchin but our waiter let us know that if we come again on Friday’s, there will be more.

I love their takeout . I’ve gone to Oyama since they first opened a little over 3 years if I recall. It’s tasty and fresh sushi located in the suburbs. My food is always ready when I pick it up and still warm by the time I start eating.
