A perfectly placed restaraunt on the side of the highway heading to the ski resorts. An underwhelming but positive experience here. Our servers were outstanding. They asked about our day and staying conscientious about our food and drinks. A very friendly and positive staff usually makes a great experience and 5 star review. HOWEVER the fajitas I ordered were burnt and lacked flavor in the meat. Disappointed. We also ordered the guacamole burger which was okay but nothing to be excited for. The beef patty was cooked perfectly to temp but tasted bland lacking flavor. It was very underwhelming for the amazing reviews that this place has. We would return again but probably would order something else.

Greeted with a smile. Service was great. Food was like home cook’n with portions large enough even for my appetite. Restaurant and bathroom were clean. Worth the drive. It sits on the east end away from the downtown crowd.

This is a diner type restaurant with a wide variety of food (country fried chicken, burgers, Mexican food, etc). The waitress was super friendly and our order came out fast and well prepared. The first two things we ordered, they were out of (wings and Soup of the day), but what we did get was tasty – mushroom Swiss burger, chili, and a chili relleno with rice and beans.

Excellent & very fast service! The waitress there brought items out to our table even before we asked…now that’s impressive! The country fried steak was tasty and even the “normal” smaller portion was so huge with the option to add on a salad for a few bucks, which was nice! Friendly atmosphere! Nice stop to eat off the highway, clean, friendly, and tasty!

My first time there. Went at noon and offered both breakfast and lunch menu. Meat loaf was good, mashed potatoes. Nice size veggie menu. Close to interstate and down town. Homey feel.

I ate here on Saturday. The staff was nice and friendly. I order a breakfast omelette, with bacon in it. It came with the omelette potatoes and toast. The food was delicious. I would say they should put salt, pepper, hot sauce, and ketchup and every table. This is because my potatoes was just pain, and I would have loved to added some salt and pepper. Luckily our waitress asked did I need ketchup. I got to have ketchup with my potatoes. Overall it was delicious.

Damn good coffee! Kirk was a great server and treated us like family. They have their own hot sauces which are delicious!!! We ended up taking home the Habanero Garlic Hot Sauce. Amazing food as well. Will stop here again!

Fantastic food with ample portions. The price is right and the service is friendly. I had the breakfast burrito one day, loved it so much I went back for the ultimate omelette the next day. If you ask me which is better I couldnt say, both are just delicious and filling. If you’re in Idaho Springs, this is the place to go for breakfast.
