We stopped at Big Dog BBQ for a late lunch and were thrilled! The gentleman running the truck was so kind and helpful. He whipped up our nachos first so we would have something to eat while we waited on our burger to be cooked and was happy to customize the toppings to our linking. And the burger was absolutely bangin’! It was juicy and hearty and he was not stingy with the toppings. It was a most satisfying burger, definitely the best I’ve had all trip. I can’t recommend Big Dog BBQ enough!

**this is an outdoor food truck. There are three outdoor picnic tables for seating. Food is in take out containers. Closest bathroom is across the street in the grocery store. The BBQ sauce is good. So anything you put it on will be good. The Mac and cheese was bland until I added the BBQ. Nachos were good just very messy. Got the pulled pork meal and tri tip meal both w potato salad and slaw. Pulled pork was delicious and Tri tip was tender. BBQ sauces were excellent as well. Exceptional potato salad! Portions are generous too. He was sold out of the mac n cheese which means I’ll have to come back for that.

I promise you won’t regret eating here. He was out of ribs and Mac and cheese when we pulled up but he offered to make some fresh and we could come back. We decided to try what he had and I’m so glad I did. When I tell you this man changed my mind on what bbq should taste like I’m not lying. I may be visiting for vacation, but best believe I’ll take a flight back out here just to eat his food. Well done. Big dog BBQ has my heart forever.

First time eating here. Got the ribs with the mac&cheese. Food was excellent. If I’m ever in the area again I definitely eat there again. Thanks for the hint to add the bbq sauce to the Mac & cheese, loved it. 2 thumbs up.

I’m very picky with barbecue because I grew up in the town that hosts the international BBQ fest annually and just ate a lot of great BBQ growing up. THIS is some seriously delicious BBQ!!!!! Pulled pork was smoked perfectly! Flavorful, tender, moist. Delicious tangy BBQ. Even the sides are great! Get the potato salad and baked Mac n cheese. Large portions and good prices. My husband got the BBQ burger with the chili, pulled pork, and Mac on it and it was amazing. Owner was very sweet. This is the best BBQ I’ve had in Oregon so far. I wish we had it in Portland!

We were passing through Yachats heading north from camping. I spotted the place by the rock shop and i cant resist food carts. I asked about the food and ingredients and in the sultry tones of Barry White he seduced me into getting the pulled pork and Mac n cheese. 10 / 10 would recommend.
