The servers are very attentive, friendly, and courteous. We were wowed by their attention, even though they were pretty busy for their special of $7.99 all you can eat tacos on Tuesday. Everyone in the family were satisfied by the Blanco cheese dip, salsa, chips, beef and chicken tacos. I can’t believe we haven’t eaten there until tonight. We will definitely make this one of our regular Mexican food places!

Quality of food is excellent! The chips look as they were just cooked, the staff is friendly, and the wait staff is very attentive. This facility easily beats out the other major Mexican restaurants in St. Joseph. This is a must try!

Taco Tuesday is on point. The salsa is the best I’ve had as well. I wish they had more room and better seating, but it’s doable compared to how nice the service is. Highly recommend!

Had a better experience on our second time trying. The food and service improved. Tres Tacos Platter Carne Asada, are pretty good with lime and some verde salsa to top.

I have to give this restaurant 5 stars and I do so easily. Since moving out to Missouri this is the 2nd time I’ve been surprised by the quality flavors and service at a Mexican restaurant. Our server was friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My family and I ordered an array of food and drinks, each of which was delicious and cooked to perfection. The usual complimentary tortilla chips came out warm, tasty and promptly. There was not a moment we had to wait to catch our server, he was always ready to oblige despite many of the tables being filled with other patrons. The climate of the dining area was bright and energetic with an explosion of vibrant colors that appealed to our occular senses. When we get a hankering for Mexican food in the future and are in St. Joseph, rest assured we’ll be going back to Los Compadres.

The place was cute and had daily specials. I was not impressed with the food, but I like a more traditional Mexican taco. Kind of pricey. The customer service was great and the people were very friendly.
