Today I got a salad – it was early 11am – ordered the grilled chicken with veg on romaine lettuce. What I got was rusty leftover shredded iceberg lettuce Im pretty sure was leftover from yesterdays sub supplies. The rest of the veg and chicken was fresh and delicious but I was expecting romaine and was disappointed in the rusty shredded iceberg lettuce.

I just want to say that I had one of the best experiences this morning at the Danville location. I was highly frustrated when I came in with my wife and had no interest in a sub (making wife happy) lol and Ken took my order and I told him I really didn’t want it. He took it upon himself to provide me with some of the best customer service I’ve received at a restaurant and made me one of the most appealing subs I’ve ever had it looked just as it did on the advertisement. His customer service and pride in the food he prepared changed my entire morning around and I will be returning because of this young man! Thank you Ken!

I’ve really fallen in love with this place. My father introduced me to firehouse subs before he passed away and I fully understand why he loved their sandwiches so much. I came here probably 5-7 times in the past two weeks. Their Smoked Cheddar Brisket, hot diggity damn, that’s good for the human soul. I haven’t even tried their other subs yet, I’m still stuck on this one.
