This is a small place. It just has a counter to order, pay and get out. Don’t let that discourage you. The Barbacoa and Menudo are amazing!! Get there early. The hot sauce is also good. Of course freshly made Tortillas like the name suggests. I go Sunday morning.

Tamales are delicious unfortunately the lady at the front counter today 12/24/21 is overcharging customers. Yesterday when I called in the order I was quoted $88 for 6 dozen tamales 2 de raja, 2 de pollo, uno de fresa, y uno de piña. She said it would be $96. I mentioned the quote and she verified it with a coworker, so she honored it. In the end our total credit card receipt stated $91 and some change. This is very disappointing, especially since we really like their tamales. Because of this I’m rating them 3 stars.

My wife wanted Tamales. We came here for tamales, they were decent in size and had good texture. We were greeted by a worker who served us well. We bought tamales chicken, beef and queso con rajas. We also decided to try champurrado. It was not expensive. We definitely would go back soon.
