I was a fan of these in Minnesota so I was a little excited to get to eat at one in Maryland. There’s no parking lot (unlike CVS across the street). You have to walk or use a specific garage. Unlike the Minnesota interiors this one has strong greasy spoon vibes. One employee was quite loud and I almost left because I didn’t want to hear the commotion. She later appeared to be surfing the web between taking and delivering orders. My shakshuka had some hard particles in it possibly husk of cumin or dried ingredients might have slightly hardened? I wasn’t too hungry but it was the worst version I’ve ever had. Coffee is okay but unlike MN no offers to top off. If you want pancakes this might be a good option. They even offer GF. Prices are relatively affordable

Very welcoming and delicious diner in downtown Bethesda, frequented by tourists and locals alike! Met an old friend for brunch on a Saturday and the staff worked as a great team with the kitchen to provide a brunch exactly as I ordered it. Strawberry Waffles and Bacon and Eggs breakfast were great!

I’ve been to the locations in Rockville and Baltimore so expected much better. Service was very slow. When we got our food there were no has browns or potatoes which our meals were supposed to come with. I ordered French toast but she brought pancakes. By the time she brought the French toast I had eaten everything. There were also eggs shells in my scrambled eggs. Would NOT recommend this location l. Only good part was the staff clearing table and giving water. Very sweet and they gave our dog water.

This place was okay. I think I’m used to the oph I have up in NY. The food was still good quality but the pancakes came out over cooked(and oddly shaped). I ordered two plates of pancakes and one came out perfect, so I know there’s a difference. I forgot to take a picture of it since that second plate came way after all the others (which tells me that it was forgotten and then rushed). I’m use to waiting a while for this food but this was a bit more than expected today. It wasn’t even that packed. Parking was in a lot for 5 bucks for an hour and they did have a kid’s menu.

The worst food I have had in years. The sausage tasted like off brand hot dogs you would find at a kids baseball game. The eggs were covered in a 1/4 inch layer of ice cold cheese that was never requested. The French toast was bearable only when drenched in syrup. If I’m going to spend 50 bucks on breakfast for me+1 I definitely expect a little more. Oh and let’s not forget about the diced boiled potatoes+Basically raw onions they try to call “hash browns”. Very disappointed.

I visited this restaurant location on Sunday early afternoon. The service was slow. There were maybe 2 servers for the outside dining guests. Only one server was doing all the work. I still remained patient through the sub par service. lukewarm coffee, and room temperature food. What upset me the most was I saw a woman sit a white bowl (restaurant bowl) on the ground and allowed her dog to drink from it and then placed back on the table. The bowl was then collected along with all the other dirty dishes from the table. I wasn’t sure what I was witnessing I had so many questions..I mean do they have separate bowls for dogs? If so why are they with the dishes we eat from? I then saw another dog owner at another table with a white bowl on

Excellent. The classic crepes are perfect. Well made batter with just enough egg, milk and butter to make them lush. The ends are fine crisped and make the whole difference in the experience. That combination of taste and texture make these world class crepes in a world class city full of doughy pretenders
