lol this place isn’t “allen st bar & grill” or whatever, it’s The Pink. and i’ve heard their food is great (never eaten there because i’m a vegetarian). but one time when i was there i asked if there was any vegetarian food & the bartender served me some pickles, which was great. and drinks are cheap. great place to end a fun buffalo night. also if you’re a femme, you’ll make temporary best friends in the women’s bathroom every time. can you even say you’re a buffalonian if you haven’t been to The Pink? no. the answer is no.

It’s a dive bar, yes, but it’s a good dive bar. It’s comfortable. The crowd is varied to a point but generally younger and lively. Prices are fair. It’s good if you go with or plan to meet people you know. Being in Allentown, parking is horrible. If you like the Stooges and Beck, then you’ll like the music there. The DJ has a good sense of what works there. It’s a Buffalo staple. If you’re going to go to only 1 bar in the city, then this is a good choice.
