Modern style chop house in Chesapeake. I call it the Chesapeake Town Center. It has a relaxed yet classy vibe. There is a nice lounge area with comfortable seats where you wait for you table. They have a couple different dining areas. There is a private dining room and a section in the back for events. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with the menu. They specialize in choice steaks cooked to preference but offer other options as well. We started with the buttered shrimp and lobster dip along with a round of drinks. We were served complimentary rolls with smooth butter. I had the 55oz tomahawk special serving with whipped potatoes and asparagus. I sure tried to eat it all but could not. It was cooked just the way I asked, juicy with great flavor. The prices are on the high side but worth it. I had read the reviews before our visit so we knew of the 3.5% service fee for credit card transactions. We had a nice visit and would go back.

Had an amazing dinner with my love. I had the 8oz fillet, he had the 22oz bone-in ribeye. We both had them with some absolutely delicious mashed potatoes and asparagus. The atmosphere was very high class and the service was impeccable. Thank you John Paul!

The atmosphere was good. My reservation was at 8 and we arrived 15 minutes early. The group was thinking traffic, parking and possible crowd. We were escorted to our table that was empty the whole time we had to wait. We were waiting for exactly 8p to come around. My server I believe his name was Brandon was great. My brussel sprouts were kind of hard. The crab dip was tasty and I’m not one to eat a lot of crab anything. The pork chop was delicious. It was 4 of us and 3 order the pork chop and mashed potatoes. My friend’s boyfriend ordered some risotto and shrimp dish had said it had good flavor, but he only ate the shrimp. Glad I tried this place out. We all agreed that we most likely would not go back.

Incredible experience! Food and drinks were exceptional. Every dish tasted and smelled amazing. Steaks were juicy and cooked to perfection. The presentation was flawless. Our server was pleasant and attentive to ensure our dining experience was immaculate. As a relatively new steakhouse in Hampton Roads, Cork & Bull is top tier.

Mother’s Day dinner and I arrived on time. My waitress was named Chrissy (I hope I spelled it correctly) she came with a sense of humor and professionalism, she was the best. Now for the food, I ordered the surf and turf and my waitress did an excellent job in explaining the menu and (medium and medium well done) so I decided to go with medium and the steak was so moist and flavorful, I also loved the rolls and real butter. This was a wonderful experience and all who I came in contact with was very nice and professional and funny at times.

This is a new modern style chop house in Chesapeake. It has a relaxed yet classy ambiance. They have a clean, roomy, and comfortable dining room. They have a private dining room as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had the best waitress. She was knowledgeable, personal, and patient. They specialize in choice steaks cooked to preference but offer other seafood and protein options as well. I tried the cocktail called Garden of Eden, and it was unique and delicious. They serve complimentary rolls and cooked salmon on crackers. These definitely complemented our entrees. I had the steak fillet with lump crab Oscar. I was not disappointed. We were a party of six celebrating a milestone birthday. All of us really enjoyed our selections. I actually had room for dessert and went with the creme brulee, which did not disappoint. The birthday girl also ordered a creme brulee, and they brought hers out with a lit candle. A nice touch. Their prices here are on the expensive side so if i return it will be for another special occasion, I’m carrying cash, or just to visit the bar. I left one star off because they do charge a 3.5% service fee for credit card transactions. They have a full bar with plenty of choices; signature cocktails, wines, and beers.

Went in on a Saturday night, group of 5, reserved few weeks in advance with a note that we had a vegan among us; then few days prior I tried calling to ask them to make a vegan dish for my friend and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. When we got there, they offered salad and when my friend politely declined, they offered fried tofu…They didn’t have vegan bread option, nor vegan dessert. We ordered a large charcuterie board which was a huge letdown, def not worth $30, nobody wanted to take the leftover cheeses home. Crab dip was good but the presentation is odd. I had shrimp with risotto that wasn’t edible. Half desserts weren’t available, I ordered creme de pot which sounded amazing and was very underwhelming. I will say, our server Shannon was amazing but her support staff needed a lot of guidance and she was spread thin, she never showed any stress but I could tell that she was joggling a lot. The manager who came over to replace terrible risotto with broccolini was super nice and the manager who floated in the dining room was a delight, too. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Decor is weird and lighting is not adding to the ambiance. I will go back to try lunch but will not try dinner for a year or so.

Mr T was a welcoming host. It set the tone for dinner and my girlfriends. Suzanne was our server and she was so attentive throughout dinner. The ambience was relaxing. Next time I’ll enjoy the lounge.

This is a steak house and I was expecting a little more of an elegant atmosphere, and this is not it. The bar area is huge compared to the main dining area and tables there were nothing to write home about. No table clothes and chairs were uncomfortable. The servers are great and well trained. The food was a huge disappointment. The apps were lacking seasoning, cesar salad was ordinary no real taste. Plating was sad for our entrees they were covered in sauce, and over cooked. Why would you cover a lobster tail in sauce? Dessert was good. Overall I think they have some things to work on here for the price they are charging. We have another steak house in the area that is doing it far better. I hope in a few months things might change.

I’m only writing this review because I wish I had read one like it prior to going. Normally, I’d just take my business elsewhere, but maybe this will help those considering the restaurant or the restaurant itself.
