Toyitos Chicken in Downey, California offers delicious chicken, and the staff is somewhat friendly. While I’ve had plenty of Peruvian roasted chicken before, I noticed this place slightly lacks the strong Peruvian spices I’m accustomed to – maybe they’re aiming for a lighter flavor. Nevertheless, the chicken soup was excellent, and overall, it’s a good place to enjoy a satisfying meal.

Worst organization food place! They never have chicken ready. It’s always 40 min wait at lunch time. What do thay do make 1 chicken every hour! Stupid operation as a restaurant! Never go here again and its chicken taste exactly as Boston Market but don’t have to wait 40 mins.

Food is good when the owner and the mom run it the rest of the family the other gurl Indian gurl her customer service horrible they give me fresh beans she gave me old beans leftover beans from the pot? If I’m gonna be ordering chicken everything has to be fresh potatoes rice and beans everything the owner needs to come back watch the business or it will fall.

It’s always clean and the chicken is fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason I don’t give 5 stars is the delay; they’re always busy and I have to wait 25-45 minutes for an order. My best advice is to call your order in so you don’t have to waist your time waiting for your order inside your car. Toyitos should hire more staff to not let their customers wait for so long.
