My husband and I live in Dunellen and this is the first time trying this place – let me tell you…blown away. I want to add I can only give it four star because we didn’t eat inside we did pick up so the 4 star can change once we experience dining in. 🙂 but we ordered chicken bacon ranch pizza, pepporoni pizza and a cheesy bread. I have been looking for a gourmet style pizza and they hit the nail on the head with the chicken bacon ranch. It was divine. I’m not used to the crust being so different or the sauce but I liked the different style and the different taste to it. Both the pepperoni and the chicken bacon ranch. The pepperoni I wasn’t expecting to be large slices but I definitely enjoyed it this way. I’ll tell ya I’ll definitely be going back… I mean..would ya look at that?!

This was my first time trying food from here thanks to a recommendation I received. I ordered takeout, so I can’t comment on the in-house service, but their delivery driver, Robert, was kind enough to give me a call letting me know my order had been delivered (as I’d requested no contact delivery) and was very friendly. I ordered the personal margherita pizza along with the kid’s penne with meatball, and everything was made well and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be ordering from here again as well as passing the recommendation forward.

As we were driving to eat at another Dunellen restaurant, my hubby spotted this one and we decided to stop and check it out. The staff was very nice and attentive! My hubby and kids ordered pasta this time, I had the arugula salad, and we also ordered a small garlic bread. The pasta was Al dente perfect!! My salad was yummy, with huge slices of Parmesan cheese. Initially we sat at a booth by the window, but it was super hot, maybe some shades would help with that. We had to move to another table. Also I think the air conditioner was not on, so it was a little hot. We will come back to try the pizza ! Overall nice decor and great service, more importantly yummy food!!

Amazing addition to downtown Dunellen. Il Forno serves a large variety of wood oven pizzas and classic Italian dishes. The new space is bright and inviting. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We tried the calamari, Caesar salad, chicken Marsala and chicken piccata. Great music and fun vibe. Congratulations to brothers Luis, Juan and the whole team. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a good slice and great service- this is your place. The food is fresh, delicious and full of flavor. The service was great! We ordered two pies and they brought out amazing sauce for us to dip our crust. The crust was so good it didn’t need any sauce but we sure did enjoy it! It’s family friendly and very clean. The prices are great! We will sure go back!

This little spot is located right in Dunellen and it’s definitely a must try. they only have a few tables, so keep that in mind if you decide to come here, but they do a lot of takeout orders and we have been to the other location located in rahway, which is much bigger but the food is just the same .service was great waitress was very attentive. Our servers name was Irma, super friendly and a pleasure to have serving us . They have a very nice selection of salads, pastas, and some pretty amazing pizza since it was only me and my husband, we decided to go with a Vodka pie and a Burrata salad, which were delicious . The pizza has good consistency and a slight amount char on the crust which makes it even more yummy. The salad very simple but good combination of flavors. I would definitely recommend the spot if you have not tried it.

The tri color pizza and the eggplant Rollatini are both super fire I mean real good It was my first time here me and my girl walked over I live next door and the whole vibe is definitely there’re for sure. I’ve had every pizzeria in town and this place has its own style and the food I had tonight you know when you taste it it was made with pure love… btw I’m not the type to really leave a review but I just had to after the meal I had tonight it was a must.

Second time this week here pizza did not disappoint therefore I came to try it out for actual dinner Veal parmigiana Was definitely delicious kids had desert which looked really good as well. Highly recommend it here
