I had an incredible dining experience at the Italian Brazilian pizzeria! The fusion of Italian and Brazilian flavors was truly unique and delicious. The pizza crust was perfectly done and crisp, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful.Their sauce it’s freshly made compared to the past owner.The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The attentive staff and prompt service added to the overall enjoyment. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their creative menu. A definite 5-star gem!

I haven’t ordered food to be delivered in at least 10 years. Saw an article in the local “Hometown News” about Goombas. Immediately went online and ordered Baked Ziti. Easiest online ordering and checkout ever! Very Professional! The delivery was quicker than I could have imagined. The food was AWESOME! The salad and dressing were perfect. Crisp and flavorful! The Ziti tasted like a GOOMBA RECIPE. I don’t know what that is, but “Well done!” Best Italian I’ve had in a while! And those Garlic Knots (and that incredible virgin olive oil and friends) were a great plus! Leaving for Belize tomorrow for a couple of weeks, but I’ll stop by when I’m back in town. ARTIE ROSE

The food was even tastier than previous ownership. Amazing taste with fresh ingredients! Highly recommend this restaurant. The service is always superb! Thank you Debbie, Maria, and Steve for the wonderful service! My only recommendation to the new owners is regarding the delicious garlic knots and side salads. Recommend that these be served prior to the main entre and not a la cart as it is now on the menu. Recommend that the waiter/waitress ask the customer if they would like these starters or not. This will mitigate this precious food to be thrown away. Can’t wait for the new espresso machine! Looking forward to enjoying an espresso after our wonderful meal.

Went to Goomba’s for the first time for a late lunch. We ordered the 10 “ pizza special and the calamari. The pizza was excellent! So good that my husband ordered another pizza to take home. The calamari we did not like that much. There was little of it and tasted like it was cooked in old burnt oil. I would not order it again but would definitely go back for another pizza. Also the fountain soda there is Pepsi which I don’t like but they make up for it by offering cans of Coke. The service was excellent!

Wow, I came 2 weeks ago… I was told that the original recipes would stay. Garlic knots (not freshly baked), pizza not the same… service was terrible… they forgot about us… no refills and no napkins…. Everyone was in the kitchen and not attending customers.

I went in a few months ago when I found out it was under new ownership. I had no idea they were now charging for salad and garlic knots for dinner now. I was upset that the prices remained the same but they are now giving less. Anyways fast forward a few months later and decided to give it a try again as I’m aware of the changes. The food doesn’t taste the same anymore. I got the chicken parm with the pasta and the new sauce they are using is not good at all. The garlic knots were some of my favorite and they too don’t taste the same either. The quality has dropped and you’re getting less. I won’t be back.

While there are new owners, most of the staff are the same and the food is even better. The new family owners are young and the gentleman (Fabricio) that introduced himself to us is 100% Italian, as both parents are from Italy. Their ideas for the restaurant are old world tried and true recipes from Italy they are buying everything fresh. The sauces will be made by hand (no longer canned) and they are buying the very best quality flour and cheeses and it shows. Last night we dined in and we have always thought that the pizza was great, but these new ingredients really make a difference and our pizza last night was extraordinary…..and they lowered the prices. Their new menus are bright and readable and gone are the menus that were just too long and stained. The atmosphere is brighter and all of the staff seem very happy about the changes. While you will pay a little more for garlic knots (they use to be free) and a house salad, the lower prices overall evens that out. You and your family need to visit this restaurant! It is the same gem, only better. Goomba loosely translated to English means “friend” and they live up to the name.
