Yesterday, my husband took me out for an early Mother’s Day dinner to Longhorn. This was our first time ever experiencing a Longhorn Steakhouse, and it’s left a great impression on us. The restaurant is very modern-rustic with lots of warm wood tones and country appeal. The service was just as incredible as the food. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken and half-rack ribs (pictured); the chicken is the best I’ve ever had. It’s a little pricey, but not something unexpected for a proper steakhouse. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re ever in the Highlands.

2 adults 2 kids= 67.85 before tip, drinks were 17 just to start, which the raspberry iced tea is delicious I understand, free refills but that is a little insane no alcohol involved in this. The food was was okay, if you or anyone your with order anything well done your sides will be like warm to cold. The longhorn Mac and cheese is not anything to brag about. The best thing out of the entrees was my daughters chicken fingers. The service was very good we were greeted with a smile and our waitress was one of a kind. The atmosphere was decent it was a bit cold which I did not mind but the rest of the crew was a bit chilly the whole time(take your sweaters!)

Poterhouse steak was decent a little pricey for a franchise restaurant. I was not disappointed in the flavor, make sure you don’t overcook your steak. Atmosphere I find hard to rate high on franchise restaurants. That’s just my opinion. Service was decent. Bartenders were exceptional.

We were highly disappointed with the entire experience here. The steaks were horrible! They tried to pass off a sirloin as a filet, and when we brought it to their attention, they claimed they saved the real filets for rare. We ordered medium rare. The server was short and curt and did not act like he was happy to be there. The atmosphere was like a Dennys or mom and pop restaurant. If I could have given no stars, I would have. Don’t go here.

My sister and I ate lunch. We both had the 7 pepper steak salad which was delicious. The hostess and waitress were both awesome. They were both very friendly and checked on us several times. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The seafood chowder was great the first time I had it, then yesterday 7/7, we had lunch again and it was very thin with mostly potatoes. Must have been a different chef. It’s much better when thicker and a lot of seafood.

The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was attentive and friendly. The corn on the cob was the best I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. It had seasoning on top that was more than worth the mess I made while eating it.
