The food it was excellent. This young man has been in business for two years. The first year was in a food truck, the second year has been in this building authentic Kenyan cuisine, but definitely pleased the group.

Amazing food, cooked to perfection. I had the egusi, and I thought it was wonderful. I also tried the dishes that my friends ordered, as well, and they were also all very good! You can tell the food is made with care, too. We will definitely come back again!

Absolutely delicious! Not everyone seasons their food the way it needs to be, this place was spot on. Def made to order because it was fresh and hot just the way I like my food. Brought my friend that never had African/Kenyan food before and I’m so glad she had an open mind to try it. Flavorful, crispy, and juicy. Fufu is so funny to say. if I lived in that state I would go every other day

I always have the fufu and Eguzi. I love it! They are consistently good. The portion size is perfect. The only problem I have with them is since people have been finding out, sometimes they run out. If you are looking for African food here in Birmingham , this should be one of your first stops.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, everyone was so welcoming and warm. The food here was delicious. I had the Egusi stew with pounded Yam(fufu) & it was immaculate. You have to eat it to get it. Definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Birmingham.
