All these good reviews made me wanna try the place out but I give honest reviews so I had the bowl of goodness (came w shrimp n sausage basically just jambalaya) but tastes like pure salt everything in the bowl is just super salty. Also got the oxtails w collards n Mac n cheese… 6/10 . Overall …okay place

Can’t say enough good things about Red Rice. We had a layover in ATL and were hungry for something other than airline restaurants so we looked at our options and found this place. So happy we did because this was the best thing about our trip!! This “Soul Food” were from recipes passed down from their grandma and were absolutely amazing!!!

3/31/23 I got the Rasta pasta with added Jerk Chicken for $15 + $8, so about $25 with tax. no meat, mostly bones. Usually really good food but seems unfortunate they gave me a bunch of thigh bones and joints in pasta.

Run, don’t walk, to this establishment. Ms. Mack knows what she’s doing! Everything was delicious…EVERYTHING! I’m very particular when it comes to soul food and Red Rice hit it out the park. The greens and green beans were seasoned to perfection. The sweet potatoes were for my mom, but I had to try them. They were buttery with the right amount of sweetness. My salmon was moist and seasoned well. The red rice…listen, you can order that by itself…no protein needed. I’m definitely returning!

Walked and was greeted immediately and with a smile. It was first time but I had been eyeing this place for a few months. The cashier was super friendly and patient. She answered all of questions honestly and sincerely. We got jerk chicken with collards and green beans; I had the smothered turkey wing with Mac n cheese and black eyed peas. My turkey wing was de-freaking-licious!!! Everything was seasoned just right and not salty! Me mom loved her jerk chicken and sides!!! First visit but not my last. A quaint little place with food like moma makes. Tried Ox Tails, Mac & cheese, and the sweet potatoes. All delicious! Two notable observations the Mac & cheese was quite cheesy but moderate flavor distinction (a little pepper jack or the like); and, Ox Tails were a bit salty. But the meat was moist and succulent! The owner and staff were friendly & service oriented. A nice gemstone in a sea of fast foods. I stayed and dined in; I think might every time. If you’re looking for some really tasty food priced at value you gotta try The Red Rice Restaurant.
