I ordered a blackened chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese as a meal. It came with Cajun fries and a Sprite. I also ordered six blackened chicken tenders, twelve chicken nuggets and six biscuits. With my senior discount, it cost $35.00.

Driving through and chose this Popeyes to stop for lunch. Best idea all day. They did not disappoint. From amazing service & great food to this locations very own signature “strawberry bisquit”. I should have gotten 2! I highly recommend this location.

Everything about my experience was just mediocre. The food was just not great. The original chicken sandwich was good. Crispy, but very greasy. The shrimp basket was tiny and not much taste. The biscuits were fair, but again, small. The sweet tea was bitter.

If you guys would make enough food to where when it’s ordered you don’t tell us we’ll we will have to cook that or the even more famous we ran out of that what other side would you like, the place would’ve be so much better the food tastes great aside from old sides 1 time . My suggestion is cook a few trays full of chicken even if you don’t have many customers because it’s better to have it to give than to not have it and lose or make an unhappy customer. For example I worked at another chicken place and we made a lot of chicken once we were down to about 3 trays unless it was close to closing time . Anyone running a restaurant should know that making too much is better than not having what a customer orders unless they pull up and wait 15 minutes. ALSO don’t start putting stuff up until it’s actually almost closing time not 2 hours before closing.

Chicken sandwich was pretty good although I would never call it “spicy” even though I got the spicy one. The fries are delicious. Butterfly shrimp are pretty small but I didn’t really expect more. Prices are good. First time ever trying Popeyes and it was pretty good. Service was great – especially when compared to your general service of a fast food restaurant.

Food was delicious, chicken was crispy and very tender. I was not impressed with the strawberry biscuit, was very dry and not very tasty. I was excited to try it and had to wait an additional 6 mins just to get it because they were out (at 830pm). It tasted like it wasn’t a fresh biscuit at all but never that had been there for some time. Besides the biscuit it was a very good meal, I had never had Popeyes before this however I will go there again, the chicken sandwich was awesome.

If you get service from a young girl there well good luck. She’s is not a people person. Not to friendly at all. She was quite rude to a elderly couple never smiles just plain rude. Need better service. Now the men there are really nice and helpful.

The Popeyes in Ellijay is fantastic. The food was great and their employee Jonathan who took our order was so friendly and extremely helpful. Popeye’s is blessed to have him as an employee. We will be back!!!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at Ellijay,GA Popeyes. It’s a new location and the spicy chicken was old or overcooked. Service was terrible and the workers lacked any spirit or enthusiasm. Another patron returned their chicken asking for fresher chicken and the employee placed that chicken back under the warmer lights and gave the patron other chicken. That is a violation and unsafe.
