I praise the place for their excellent customer service. Third time here and they make me feel welcomed. Each time I try something different from their menu. Their warmth makes me feel comfortable to eat inside of their clean establishment and they also have outside seating which is nice.

COAHUILA MÉXICO (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – A vendor we initially enjoyed at Sara’s Market in East Los Angeles has opened up a shiny new bricks and mortar in the Harbor city of Lakewood. They are still offering their Torreón, Coahuila-style flour gorditas and an expanded menu of guisados to stuff them with, but now you can also get tacos on flour tortillas, burritos, and breakfasts. Tried a plate of eight just to make sure they were still flying. They are.

My husband went, not me, so I didnt take off stars for service and atmosphere since I can’t speak to it. I just hope since its a soft opening feedback is considered. I got 1 pretty small taco for 3.75. Im not someone with a large appetite but I wanted more. The flavor was GREAT. The size for price was however lacking. I wouldn’t have paid 3.75 for each taco if I got 2 but maybe I would have got 2 tacos for $6 making them 3 a piece. I come from areas where you can get street tacos with amazing flavor for $1 each though. The chips were delicious and I’m glad those were included but they were a small serving. I just still felt hungry after my meal. I would have liked to see carne asada on the menu, but maybe thats just me. Its clear you’re going for a menu with more unique flavors but sometimes a classic can bring people back.
