This place is tiny, with outdoor patio style table and chairs seating only in the courtyard of the plaza. Having grown up in a pizza shop, I had high hopes for this place. Overall the pizza lacked flavor. The sauce, the cheese and even the crust were just ordinary. Nothing to write home about. I love a nice pizza crust, this dough is lighter than usual for a pizza. Also very pricey!! I almost had a cow when he said $60 for a 12″ specialty pizza, 2 slices of regular pizza and a small slice of cake. No drinks at all. $60!!! So my expectations were a little higher, as I was expecting some amazing pizza, but sadly nothing special about it.

First of all, food was DELICIOUS. this pizza is so light and airy yet filling. couldn’t get enough. and Joey was so kind and friendly. made the experience 1000x better. in such a materialistic place like california, joey made us feel like we were in a friendly neighborhood and fit right in. He tells great stories and shared the story of how this family business was made. very wholesome. the world needs more people like Joey in this world. great food and kind people. best combo. look out for jeff as well, he is a hunk 😉

My family and me were in town visiting for vacation and had dinner at D’Amores! The pizza was one of the BEST pizzas we’ve ever had, made from the finest ingredients! Joe is a genuine, stand up guy who we ran into at the local supermarket and he invited us over to his restaurant! Loved the photo wall in the restaurant as well! Wish there was one in Daytona Beach! ~New Daytona Beach Family

D’amores’ has their wonderful pizza Blanco available by the slice! Garlic-y spinach and roasted peppers with rich ricotta – and thin/chewy crust. Great for a quick lunch or dinner on the fly and a decent deal in these expensive times.

This review is for the pizza which is always amazing. I have gotten the fresh garlic in the past but today we ordered half pepperoni and half grilled veggies which was amazing as well. Next time I will ask again for fresh garlic but still so delicious!!

Really poor service at the Point Dune D’amores, ordered 4 slices of pizza to stay on plates this afternoon. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, after 20 minutes I asked if they are ready, girl behind the counter called back for them and said a few more minutes. 5 minutes later she gave me the 4 slices (2 specialty slices looked as if they threw some toppings on old cheese pizza), barely warm, hard and dry/old looking, in a box without plates (for $20 – see attached picture). I could’ve just ordered a fresh pizza. I complained, the girl behind the counter just said they warm up pizza that is already 80% done, then why take 25 minutes?! She didn’t seem to care at all, no customer service skills, especially since she is the one who told us 10 minutes and took nearly a half hour to deliver. Though it was clearly old reheated pizza, it did taste good. We will try their pizza again, just at another location.
