Ok I don’t leave reviews often but i have got to for this place esp through Uber eats it’s always a miss. This place went above and beyond from packaging to adding chips and salsa and all the condiments. I’m having a pity party over here missing my deployed spouse and eating my feelings away. I am so glad i found this place! Just look at the photos!!! And the prices are so decent!!! ignore my vacuum i was using it to prop my chips.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The food wasn’t the best Mexican I’ve ever had but it was pretty good none the less. I’ll be back to see if I’d be more impressed by a different item or time. It had great potential but I was semi-let down by the food and service. I really enjoy when a Mexican restaurant in Virginia doesn’t give white sauce. That was the high light of the meal.

Fast service with the best salsa! The food is always great and the service is too. The mole sauce is consistently yummy, the tacos are flavorful, and the bar selection is expansive. Rather than fish tacos, I had the grilled fish and it was light, a little smoky from the grill, and extra tasty with a delightful balance of flavors. The kids love it and with all private booths, the noise level stays pretty quiet with families. Nice decor as well.

I’ve been coming to Mi Hogar for almost 2 decades. It’s our default Mexican restaurant. The last few visits, service has been slower than usual and I’ve found us having to ask the server (the same both times) for items (white sauce, drink refills) more than once.

Walked in to ask about takeout and was not greeted nor acknowledged after standing for 5 minutes. It was not busy although it was 12 noon on a Friday and raining. Only 2 tables had people. I had to stop a waiter to ask “estan muy ocupados?” and he said yes as he ran around like a chicken without a head going nowhere, literally. So I just walked out. Una cosa si les digo, el servicio no vale queso aqui. No se atiende a la Raza muy bien.
