The Buckboard Grill is now under new ownership and is ready to provide a family style BBQ restaurant that features an array of burger and pizza options, as well as daily dinner specials. We pride ourselves on our from scratch kitchen including house smoked meats, fresh squeezed lemonade, pizza dough, and hand pressed burger patties. Our full bar features cold beer and wine, cocktail specials and room to watch the game.

Went in to order dinner to take out and was told the wait would be about 20 minutes for a large pizza and small house salad. The waitress, Nava (spelling), went about her business helping other customers with their take out orders and in house customers. I get being short staffed, but she never once, after taking our order, checked to see if it was ready, only said to us, “It shouldn’t be long now”. All the while 45 minutes had gone by and our order had, in fact, been sitting under the warmer for at least 20 minutes! Your restaurant was not that busy, so for this lack of customer service is not acceptable to me.

The staff was amazing! We shared an order of wings and Nachos, I give the wings a 5 star, the Nachos a 2 star if compared to a Mexican Restaurant but I’ll give a 4 star for Tavern Nachos. Overall… very nice experience.

We moved here from the bay area 10 years ago, and we are almost always disappointed when we go out to eat in the valley. A friend, who ironically owns a restaurant, recommended this place, so I decided to make the 30 minute drive from our home to check it out. Having been spoiled with countless great restaurants in the bay, I’m usually disappointed locally. That definetly was not the case this time. When I opened the menu, I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t find anything I didn’t want to eat. The food, service and pricing are so good, I have been there 3 times in the last 7 days. My entire family loves this place. If you haven’t been here, you are missing the best restaurant in Southern Oregon.
