My wife and I stopped by after a long day at the beach. We ordered 2 Chicago dogs and a spicy roast beef sandwich and it was so amazing. When you are in Rockport you have to stop in and try this place out, it is so authentic and fresh you will not disappointed. It is amazing!

The staff at Taste of Chicago were quite welcoming even though we arrived near the end of their open hours. The location is a food truck with a built-on addition that has a ramp and an outdoor dining area with seats and tables. I ordered a Chili Cheese Dog and Chili Cheese Fries and we also ordered The Classic Reuben. From placing the order to receiving it was around 10-15 minutes for both orders. The food was great, just take note that if your order has chili to keep napkins at hand. I’ll be looking to come back again when I’m free during their open hours. Quite a tasty deal for a good price!

I used to live in Chicago and have missed eating Chicago Dogs since the day I left. When I saw Taste of Chicago, I knew I had to give it a shot. It was amazing. The food brought me back to the days in the windy city and absolutely didn’t disappoint. The food is not “fast food”, they cook everything to order. The owners were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and love Jesus! Who could ask for more? I am in the top 10% of Google restaurant reviewers and would not steer you wrong. Stop in and tell Rueben you are ready to taste some true Chicagoland food!
