We stopped here for dinner and the food here was wonderful. We were seated quickly with no wait and the waiter was very attentive to us. Our drinks never went empty and our meals were piping hot when they arrived. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and in good order. Overall a great experience!

Don’t waste your time or money at this place. It used to be good when it was in the mall, but has went way downhill. The food wasn’t very hot when we got it although the plates were hot. The young, and inattentive waitress was wiping down chairs and tables that were empty and not taking care of the 3 tables she had to serve. She left my glass empty, didn’t clear away any dirty dishes from the edge of the table until I asked her too. We had to ask for more chips and salsa When we were seated(around 3p) the hostess told us that we came at the perfect time. I guess the perfect time to be ignored. The food lacked flavor and portions were small compared to other Mexican places in the area. I don’t know how they stay in business. There are some great New Mexican places that just opened recently in Manhattan. It’s so great to have choices. My friend and I both left disappointed and we both said we’d never go there again.

The food has always been excellent but the service is hit or miss. This last experience, it seemed every service opportunity was missed – slow to get us drinks, no utensils, no refills. Staff was friendly and apologetic but it didn’t seem particularly busy. Previously a dinner date was a much better experience. The shrimp street tacos al pastor were delicious.

Have been here twice in 2 years while on vacation. Never again. Food is bland and tasteless. They are a decent portion. The chips are tasty. The margaritas (both the frozen, on-the-rocks, and the flavored) are horrible. Watched the bartender stand at the bar and eat his meal while customers waited for their first drinks–should’ve done that out of sight as it became insulting. Took ten minutes to get a waitess in an otherwise empty place. When she did come, she was great, though. Lovely young college student. The only good thing about my experience.

This is a mixed review. First time coming here. I ordered a salad “Saladilla” if I’m spelling that correctly, and my wife ordered a beef burrito that at the moment she doesn’t remember the name. My salad was spectacular, the best I tasted while in Kansas. The burrito on the other hand was the complete opposite. The sides were rice and refried beans, and my wife was completely appauled that she lost her appetite. I tried the beef, it was flavorless, and the refried beans that I concur tasted utterly disgusting, and the rice had soggy cilantro, with soggy rice. My prediction it was made three days ago, but the manager informed us a day ago. Rice can be extremely peticular in maintaining its flavor and taste over time. Sadly to say, this dish was requested from our waiter. I don’t recommend a 50/50 suggestion. Move on to your next restaurant option.
