Since 1978, Potomac Pizza has been one of Maryland’s most delicious and beloved family restaurant favorites! We use the freshest ingredients to create both our traditional and specialty pizzas and we offer a fun and memorable atmosphere that local residents have come to depend on. After taking over the now “Original” Potomac location in 1995, it became apparent to us that our customers loved us and that we needed to expand. We opened our Traville location in 2003 and Chevy Chase in 2006. Our College Park location opened in the Summer of 2017. Our Newest Location in Middle River will open in the Spring of 2020. We look forward to growing with the communities that we proudly serve. We could not do it without our awesome Potomac Pizza fans!

So this is my first time here. Ive heard that the pizza is really good so i wanted to give it a try. The pizza is VERY good. I loved it. I got cheese. I’m giving 3 stars because I got here about an hour after they opened and when I entered the restaurant there was a foul smell of what I could think of is old trash. As I was going to my booth to meet with my friend there was spilled juice on the floor that i almost stepped in. The floors are dirty and there was some trash on the floor. The service was good. It’s just the smell that I couldn’t get over and the dirty floors. I can’t help but think if the kitchen is just as dirty. I doubt I’ll come back. But I will state that the pizza is really good.

The food is delicious and service was nice, but it’s so expensive. I may be biased as I’m from Northern NJ, so pizza is cheap there, but it’s absolutely wild how much this cost. Perhaps they upcharge because they’re near the university? Also, a “medium pie” is more of a personal size IMO. If you’re feeding more than 3 people go for a large.

Top pizzas in flavor and quality in College Park. Stopping by for a pizza for lunch is quick and delicious. Their beer selection is slim and lacks a lager and stout/Porter option, but their management is very receptive to suggestions. The atmosphere is what is to be expected being so close to the University of Maryland with photos of sports plastering the walls. Not a place you’ll want to stay and hangout, but definitely worth dropping in for a bite at the bar or booth with friends especially before a game or a visit to campus.
