I wasn’t expecting a lot, but this place is good! I have been to some best seafood places, but this is place is a hidden gem. The food looks expensive but the quantity is huge. I think one plate is good for 3-4 people. Their mango-juice is extremely good. I also tried the noodles, and loved it! Overall 8 out of 10, would appreciate a little more spices as I took extra spicy. Recommended for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crazy Boil ( State College) with my daughter, and I simply cannot contain my excitement about the wonderful experience we had. From the high-quality food to the excellent service, every aspect of our visit surpassed our expectations and left a lasting impression. Here’s my glowing review of our memorable dining experience.

We had a large tray of Cajun shrimp and a large tray of crab legs. Overall pretty good, the spicing part left a few things to be desired.

Food was ok but the establishment was filthy and covered in cobwebs! The napkin holders were dusty!! I don’t like giving bad reviews but I give credit where it’s due!! The specially made drinks weren’t pleasing to my palate but I’m sure it’s an acquired taste! Overall the food was ok, nothing to rave about!

Horrible. Don’t even waste your money. It was so expensive, the waitress messed up a lot. She gave us the wrong checks and she barely checked on us. When we wanted cocktail sauce, she didn’t bring it out.

Decent place, not the best fries I have had. But the sweet potato fries here are good. Only place in the near vicinity to be open on Christmas Day, so I would give points for that.

By far the best place around to get fresh, delicious seafood. It may seem a bit pricey, but the quality and quantity of seafood that you get makes it worth every penny. The flavor is something you just don’t find in this area.

Not bad. Place was empty, and I mean empty at 5pm Monday. One other couple came In while we were eating, but that’s it. Place was nice enough. Service was OK, we had 2 different people wait our table (of 2) but rarely saw them. One took our order and served the boil, one gave us our check when we were done. Extra star tho for the free hush puppies they gave us. The food itself was good. We got a combo of crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish, 1lb each with extra sausage and broccoli. Enough for two people. Seemed like not super flavorful at first, but we learned quick. If you unshell and get it back in the boil juice it was much better. Cajun fries were good, but nothing to write home about. Same for the puppies. As far as price, I expected to pay $80-100 for the dinner walking in so that the entire bill including tip was $95 was reasonable, but to me is still expensive. Worth a visit if you like seafood boils, but not somewhere I see myself going regularly.
