I went here because Best Food in Town was closed. I ordered pizza rolls which was hard on the outside and not cooked on the inside and steamed dumplings which were edible. I also got the chicken fingers but they looked like sweet and sour chicken. I thought the chicken was undercooked but the dog enjoyed it. My husband got chicken wings and fried rice. He was happy all Chinese Food establishment has the same hot sauce so he could drench his overcooked wings. I would not recommend.

March 5th, 1992 I placed an order with Kung Food in Southern NJ. It was my first experience with Chinese Food. Since then I have been a regular consumer of the product, some would even argue that my love of the cuisine makes me an expert level critic. Over the years I have tasted the good the bad and the ugly. Fast forward to today, May 3rd, 2023. I placed an order at Hong Kong Gourmet for chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce. It’s been a long time since food brought a smile to my face, but by golly did the good folks at HKG turn my Wednesday frown upside down. I have eaten here so many times it’s a shame! They have the best chicken wings in Atlantic City, if you like your chicken marinated in delicious Asian spices for at least a few days, then deep fried to a dark brown. So succulent that the skin has nearly disappeared. All the flesh to the bone is rich and full. The only chicken wings that can come close to this restaurant is on Dr. King Boulevard. They had the best deep fried chicken wings if you want a crust on your chicken wings. If you want the best Asian flavored chicken wings in Atlantic City there is no better location!
