We are a Chicago staple now in the North Shore. Serving up Authentic Mexican Cuisine in a hip city feel environment. We go above and beyond the typical run of the mill Mexican restaurant bringing one flavors and tastes that are not represented through mainstream Mexican food. We have plates like Pollo en Mole de Reyna, Camarones Monte Alban, Crepas, Chile Rellenos and many more upholding traditional Mexican dishes but with the flavor and heat the North Shore so desperately needed. In regards to drinks we have some of the best, being all our speciality cocktails are made with small batch boutique 100% Blue Agave Tequila. We hope to see you soon!

One of my top favorite Mexican restaurants around. I’m big on flavor! This place definitely knows how to season the food to perfection. I never liked shrimps like ever!!! This place made me obsessed with their “Camarones Juanita” let me tell your guys, DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING! They are to die for especially if u love spicy. They come with a grilled garlic toast as well that is like a match made in heaven. Everything else is so good as well I have t had anything I did t like so 10/10 for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where do I even start? This place is hands down one of the best mexican spots I’ve found so far! Everything is super fresh and delicious! Everything on the menu was fantastic 10/10. The staff is super helpful and kind. Very well established place. Highly recommend checking it out.

I found this place on Maps (of course), and based on the high rating and good reviews, decided to give it a try. Upon parking the first thing I noticed was it’s pretty dark inside, but once we went in, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. We got a booth and ordered. They have a great kids menu too. Lots of groups, including families. A bar where people were quietly enjoying their evening. Friendly staff. The food was excellent, good value, and there’s a churro place next door (and DD at the end of the plaza if that’s more your style), or get dessert there.

Food was bad. We expected some level of quality, but got most average mexican food imaginable. Drinks were good though. Also they included some convenience fee and included gratuity. Scammy place

The two stars are for the food and the cute ambiance. The three stars I didn’t give are because of our server. I came here for a dinner and she was the only server working the whole restaurant. Overall she was good about checking up on us and our food came pretty quick too. When I ordered a drink she said I look too young and that I have to show my ID. I said I didn’t have it because I just got a temp ID but I had a picture of it on my phone as well as my old DL which I could have shown her (in which I was already over 21). She said no sorry that won’t work. (All of this was totally fine with me and I smiled and said okay and ordered a Diet Coke). When she came back with my Diet Coke she apologized again saying “soooo sorry, sorry honey you really do look sooo young like 16 or 17” she was saying this in a belittling tone and kept going on and on as if it was funny. It was not funny to me, it was embarrassing. I’m 26 years old and I didn’t appreciate her going on about it. It’s just a drink, I didn’t care but the fact that she kept it as a running joke like I was a child and making fun of the situation ruined the dinner for me.

First we walked in party of 6 we were sat down pretty fast. Yet service was less than par. Only 2 people working. Mango Margaritas no flavor/alcohol. We ordered and food came out but at different times. Food had no flavor whatsoever. Charged extra for salsa. When trying to discuss with server all he did was try to argue. Since party of 6 tip was included, probably wouldn’t have left one. Not what was expected of a 4.5 star place. Never again. Not authentic Mexican Food. Just realized there is a convenience fee charged for using card to pay. Unreal.

The food is excellent, the appetizers are especially exceptional. Try the Camarones Juanita! Service has been great each visit too. My only complaint is that it’s hard to leave room for delicious churros.

The best Mexican food I ever had. It’s small, family own place. Food is fresh made with quality ingredients. I’m huge fan of spicy Mexican food and I’m very picky about freshness. This place is awesome. Great friendly stuff. On my second visit I tried salmon and burrito al pastor. Both dishes was delicious.
