The Edison Cafe has been in operation since the early 1930’s. The cafe was previously a Texaco gas station. Since then, many businesses have operated out of this building including auto sales, penny candy, and ammunition sales for hunters. The cafe is now owned and operated by a local couple, Austin Breckenridge and Kiersten Weimer.
The cozy and quaint Edison Cafe is unique in many ways. The lunch collaboration between the elementary school and the Cafe has continued since the 1940’s. A truly unique and heartwarming story.
Come join us for lunch with friends, drink an Italian cream soda and listen to the locals tell stories.

BEST BURGER! Legendary experience. Perfect bite. Smash burger mastered. Juicy meat with an amazing sear. Full of flavor. Great burger to bun ratio/coverage. Loved how the fries came unsalted with the option to salt your own with the special flavor blend on the table. Get a side of burger sauce for dipping… I devoured the entire plate.

We stopped here for a quick bite with a large group on a road trip, and ordered just about everything on the menu. (Everything was so good.) The burgers were perfectly smashed, the buns were toasty and the veggie burgers were virtually indistinguishable from the real thing! Service was speedy and friendly, and the outdoor patio was perfect.

This was such an awesome find! The burgers are so good!!! My son isn’t a big fan of onions, but he loved them as well. After we got back to our hotel in Bellevue my husband wanted to go back the next day. The owners and locals were very welcoming.

The best detour on our way back to Vancouver from Seattle. The food is really good and the people are awesome! Highly recommend as a stop. Also leads to a very scenic drive with ocean views on the way back to the highway.

Fantastic smash burgers with a crusty edge in a super cute old diner. The salad and fries were both very generous portions and delicious. Minimal menu but maximal execution. Absolutely will be back!

This hidden gem has won over the hearts (and taste buds) of my coworkers and me with their mouthwatering smash burgers. Prepare yourself for a culinary adventure like no other!

No checks or 100$ bills. The Cinnimon rolls are so tender. They have had to make them everyday this week I hear. The French fries were very tasty. Very friendly staff. The lemonade was quenching.
