The McDonalds is one of my favorite restaurants and this location is up there with the best. I went through the drive thru for a mid-afternoon cheeseburger snack and was greeted with friendly crew members who got my hot, freshly made burger out to me in no time. I ate it on the way home and almost crashed. I’m glad I didn’t crash my vehicle, but if I did, I’d be honored to go out while eating a delicious McDonald’s cheeseburger. Mmm mmm. Pro tip: always order more food than you anticipate eating. Always.

We put in a mobile order for three people so it was a pretty big order. When we got our food half of our order was missing. Unfortunately we didn’t realize until we got back to the house. So I called and they apologized and said we could come back and get our missing food as we only live about three minutes away. However when we got there the employee asked us if we had a receipt. I searched my app and couldn’t find it. So we then had to go back home to get the receipt which we didn’t get with our order. I was able to eventually find the receipt in my email so we took that and our bag back to the restaurant for the third time in the span of an hour. When we got there the employee we were working with was nowhere around and the young woman at the cash register had no idea what we were taking about. When the original employee did come around the corner he could not be bothered to help the situation. When we finally got it sorted they didn’t even ask to see my receipt and almost left out a sandwich we had not received. All of that just to get back home and see that they gave us the wrong sandwich. Will not be returning.

This restaurant has no management oversight. The dining room is never attended to. The drink fountain area is always messy with spilled drinks on it, a dripping syrup nozzle that has been leaking for several weeks and the syrup stays in the drain area. This creates fruit flies and no one seems to fix the problem. Coke can fix it if they know about it. I have worked in food service for over 39 years and this is unbelievable.

So after contacting McDonalds about this location and how I always have to pull around and wait for breakfast, they told me they basically had no control over the situation. It was a privately owned franchise which I was fully fricking aware of but they should have some influence, especially if it costs them money and reviews like this. I didn’t visit it again for two months. Went back to see if things changed this morning. I didn’t order the big breakfast and just ordered two sausage mcmuffins with egg for the pooch and I. The food came out swiftly (surprised) and I forgot to mention the dog and I didn’t want egg shells. If it’s not egg shells , I’m afraid to ask what the frick are you always serving? Who the actual hell is watching quality control on this location? Has the owner even had a unknown friend go through the drive through and try a crunchy mcmuffin? Well goodbye. I never thought I would ever say this is but I prefer a Holliday chuckwagon on 160th & Cedar. I don’t have to pull around and sit and I don’t have to try to grind up whatever is chunky.
