Amazing fried food , the best ice cream . The staff were so kind and intelligent,which really goes along way. We loved Frates best part is we were about to take a picture of a Chevy on display and a man offered to take the picture. He was so nice to us , it met a lot come to find out he was the owner ! The food was not bad, but it was a bit overpriced. I’ve had better lobster rolls elsewhere. Burgers were undercooked & not well-seasoned They have A TON of stuff on their menu, so that was nice to see. Lots of fun photo props too, if you’re into that.

Use to love this place.. but this year I have been disappointed the last two visits.. and after tonight I will not back .. ordered a scallop roll and my bf ordered a lobster roll. He brought out the food with not tartar sauce on the plate, when I went to get some I was informed I would have to pay extra for it .. I have never ordered fried seafood and not had it served with tartar sauce .. the staff is young untrained girls with bad attitudes .. stay away from this road side dump.. 75 dollars in food and your asking for extra.. forget this place .. spend your money elsewhere for better seafood and better service

Overpriced and overrated lobster roll. The fact the Taunton Gazette even had this as a top choice is laughable, if you want a LEGIT good lobster roll for that price you have to go to places like Boston over on columbus ave, Tiverton RI, or Barnstable down the cape

Cooked to order great food. Prices are a bit high, but food is good. Not a lot of seating, but picnic tables are large and sturdy. Plenty of fake cows about for photo ops.
