I had their chilaquiles rojos con carne y huevo. This was the biggest disappointment flavorless salsa roja the meat tasted like ground beef. The beans tasted like it came out the can. The only good thing was the cafe de olla. I won’t recommend this place unless you don’t care your money and tastebuds

The inside looks a lot better than it used to. However their food has gone down. In quality. The agua fresca is warm. The salsas taste like water with tomatoes. Food isn’t seasoned.

The people were super nice. The place was clean and decent looking. But the food was not so great. My torta was decent but the salsas, the rice and even the gordita we ordered was not good at all. This would be ok in a cheaper place, but these guys definitely kept up with the times and adjusted pricing accordingly without adjusting portions and quality. That killed it for me.

Great “machetes” for lunch! I never try a machete before and there were many options to put on your Machete, the woman who attend us said that we can choose two options and combine it. It was the best suggestion because my machete was great! I also ordered a natural watermelon juice, it was delicious. Highly recommended. One machete is sufficient, but if you still hungry another one and the price is good.

We love Los Machetes, and we just found that they remodeled the restaurant and upgraded the plates and silverware. I ordered Squash Blossoms quesadilla and my daughter got the Huitlacoche one, my husband got menudo grande and cafe de olla, and my toddler the Dino nuggets with fries. We ate everything! The food is plenty and tasty.
