This dumpling house is the one your looking for. Dumplings made by hand and filled with filling… Non of that doughy Dumpling. They are well steamed and very delicious, also had pot stickers that where just as good. The surprise for me was the Genral Chicken, the chicken had great flavor, crispy exterior, and moist juicy interior. This is some of the best mad General chicken I have had in a while. House and chili sauce only enhance the experience. Stop by and get your fill, I promise it’s money well spent.

YUM! YUM! YUM! The General chicken was CRISSSSSPPPPYYYY. I’m always reluctant to order chicken from restaurants because most of the time they come out soggy, but this chicken was CRUNCHY! ❤️ Everything else was really good too, but I recommend the general chicken the most!

I was shocked that, despite previous reviews stating that diners saw the dumplings being made by hand, I observed otherwise. There is a small chest freezer at the back of this tiny restaurant where my friend and I observed staff taking out pre-packaged commercially prepared dumplings exactly like those found at any Asian market. Dumpling House, indeed. What a laugh! I will never return.

Pricey and the taste is just okay…. if you come from a culture eating dumplings, you might not be satisfied here. Their dumplings are all made by machine which is interesting, but the taste cannot even be compared to your home-made dumplings… The service and attitude are great though.

I have tried many dumpling spots in the Sacramento area. This was my first time at Dumpling House. I ordered the spicy pork and shrimp dumplings. The flavor of the filling was underwhelming…even with the sauces on top. It didn’t hit the spot. I am not sure what all the glowing reviews of this place are for. Next time I will go somewhere else for dumplings.

We found this place looking for a place to have dinner passing through town. Excellent dumplings. Our favorites were the bbq pork bao and the vegetable chow mein. We also liked the chicken and corn. Definitely will come back on our next drive through Sacramento!!
