The young man that was the assistant chef has very good manners. He brought our food out. He gave me extra fries because he knew I will be writing a review. They did have plenty of ketchup.

Best potato salad I’ve ever had. Amazing homemade sauce and fair prices. Kind service. This is my first time in Georgia and I feel lucky to have come upon this local favorite!

Delicious. Clean. Friendly. A bit pricey. $18 for bbq sandwich froes tea and cobbler. They were out of brisket and turkey by the time I got there at 11am. BBQ pork sandwich was really good. Limited menu. Blackberry cobbler was ok. Fries nice and crispy. Descriptions of the oddly named menu items would be helpful.

My favorite BBQ. Grew up in East Macon in the 60s. Fresh food and super friendly staff. Try the Pig Special if you like Carolina style – large pork sandwich with slaw and a slice of fresh tomato on top.

The food is always amazing! The best brunswick stew around. But the customer service is horrible. They were very rude.

It was my first time there and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and the food, especially the Brunswick Stew was phenomenal. It’s a bare bones operation like the drive ins of old but they make up for it in food quality. So no “candle light suppers” there unless you do take out!

Wanted to try something local and was told their food was good. I was very very disappointed. I ordered 2 rib plates with baked beans and potato salad on both, 2 sweet teas and a peach cobbler. That was $37…I ate it because I was starving. I didn’t take a pic of the food. But they put the sides in small cups…probably for portion control. The beans tasted like pork n beans… they could’ve bought Busch’s and they would’ve been better. The potato salad is weird, its made with sour cream and they cut potatoes in circles. My aunt said the ribs tasted day old… not fresh. They were tender. They gave us an untoasted hamburger bun. The peach cobbler was very bad. They don’t fill up the container, but that’s fine. Cause again… they could’ve bought a Marie Callender pie and it would’ve been better. The best thing I had was the sweet tea. And my server was very nice and helpful.

This place was a little small hole in the wall spot in Macon. We are looking for a house and this place was a great spot to stop in for some barbecue. Everyone was nice and the food was great!
