Supply and demand. I hope they are open when I come home to visit. The last couple of times, they have been closed. What’s up with that. Best ribs anywhere. I had ribs in Florida, Texas, Georgia, Philly and New York and Sheild’s is the best!!!! Please be open all the time. Or publish your hours of operation. I am only rating this a 4 because they are not open all the time.

I am disappointed. The center cut was ok. Not to Shield’s standard. I think the ribs were boiled verses Shield’s standard over the put fire. They were out of whiting which is a signiture sandwich. He said his fryer was down and it would not be ready until 30 days. He update his posted menu if he is not serving everything on it. You can find a better cheese steak in town. But the name is Shield’s BBQ. Stick to the Shield standard, that’s what made the place great!!!!

For the ones who said it’s never open, y’all do realize it have the time and days that he’s open and close on here right; i give it 4 stars although i haven’t gotten anything to eat from there in a long time, it’s not being open enough days, or it being not opened at a decent time is why i won’t give it a 5.

Was there on Nov. 3,2017. Food is still , but need improvement on customer wait time. I arrived at 88pm and did not leave until 9:20pm. They didn’t complete my order until Nd. Shields directed the employee to do so.
