Baja Fish Tacos is pretty good, but Wahoo’s is best! It was Wahoo’s in Santa Ana where I ate my first fish tacos. After that first time, my usual lunch mates and I would go there at least once a month or more frequently. Staying in Long Beach with my great friends, John and Rhonda. John and I headed to the location near Westminster/2nd St & PCH. I was not disappointed! When I was told that the fresh catch was ono, I ordered the taco plate – 2 tacos with slaw added, black beans and brown rice. Added pico de gallo and their mild salsa verde. Tasted the jalapeno salsa verde and could have added it but I was going mild and the pico de gallo added enough kick. The ono was grilled perfectly! Delicious lunch!

I had the chicken tortilla soup with tasted delicious but only had about 3 small pieces of chicken. I had to take stars off because they have a gnat problem at the drink station. There were at least 15-20 gnats flying around, not very appetizing.

Love their fish tacos and they have a really great citrus rice! The guacamole isn’t my favorite, but the small is cheap and a generous portion. Plus the crew that works here is super nice and helpful. They genuinely seem to care about giving great service. The restaurant also has a large patio that’s always clean.

The fish tacos were good. Nice crisp on the fish and the cabbage on top was nice and fresh. Had the black beans and rice on the side. Large portions were nice. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.
