Stopped in to have a burger. I saw they had a triple cheese burger, so I thought I would give it a go. As I was just looking at how the goodness was coming out, the burger, the waitress, came up to me and said “hey I don’t know if you noticed but Wes (owner of the restaurant) realized that the burger he sent out was only a double meat and not a triple meet, do you want me to take it back and add the third patty or change it to a double?” OH, I told her make it a triple, so she took back and when she brought it back out, man! It was delicious and will be back again. Also, while we were there, the owner came out and thanked everyone for coming to his restaurant. He said there are 100 different restaurants in Temple and wanted to thank us for choosing his. Nice guy.

The Food was Great and the Fried Pickled was Great also. The Waiters did a Great Job keep our Ice Tea Filled. I will recommend this to Friends and Family.

What a great little place this was! A friend and I stopped on our way home from a work trip and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, portions huge, and service outstanding. Alao, the prices were extremely reasonable. The owner came and chatted with us. We could tell this is a place where people from all walks of life are comfortable. We will be back.

Wes’s is your ultimate local “greasy spoon” restaurant. Excellent burgers and chicken fried steak, as well as all the other things one expects in a southern confort food joint. Wes’s has been a local hit for decades, although it’s not always been in this spot, which is not in the best part of town. Yet, the area is safe and the restaurant is easy to get to. The wait staff may be homey, but are genuinely attentive and friendly. You won’t go away hungry.
