Best Caribbean food north of the Bronx. The only negative thing to say, the jerk pork was a likkel dry. But the rasta pasta was creamy and had some bite. The oxtail was fall off the bone delicious. The bronzino was seasoned so well….sooo good. Curried tofu was good but I’m a meat eater. The Calamari was fresh and the spicy mayo to dip in paired it well. And the rum punch was so refreshing especially on a long hot summer day in NYC like today. I didn’t try the jerk tacos but I did notice not 1 single crumb left. The peppered shrimp was definitely scotch bonnet peppery. For those not used to the spice, you’ll feel it. To those who expect the spice, you’ll enjoy the heat. Love this place. They now have a to go spot on the corner if you don’t want to eat in. The ambiance is good for a date night or bday celebration. Music was cool. Great vibe here. The service was friendly and attentive. Had to tip over the suggested amount. Thank you Krave!!!

I made reservations for my family and I from SC while visiting. The ambience is top tier. We ordered the rum punch and it was the best rum punch I’ve ever had. We ordered the red snapper, Mac and cheese and rice and peas. All were really good especially the Mac and cheese. Our host provided exceptional service. 10/10

So I LOVE this place. This meal is my go to every time I go to new Rochelle. Lloyd is my FAVORITE server. He is nice, clean, professional and I love his customer service, he is my server EVERY TIME I go. The red snapper is lit!! Just look at it. I love the rum punch and the ginger wine, it was soo good. Just go, you won’t be disappointed. I would say everything on the menu is cooked to perfection.

I’ve gone there two times. Both were on an early Friday evening around 5 or 6 pm. The place was not full, but it definitely wasn’t empty and people continued to be seated during the time I was there. The bar area was kind of full. The decor is nice. They have reggae music playing (which I enjoy). Staff is friendly and attentive. They don’t hold back on the alcohol in their cocktails. The food is very good. I got the crab & lobster rolls for appetizer. I had the oxtail with rice and peas during one visit and fried chicken with Mac & cheese during the other. It was delicious. The only reason why I give four stars is because the portions are small for the price. I would definitely go back.

If you want a nice and inexpensive happy hour drink I think this would be a good place for you to go. I like the shrimp fried rice It had a good flavor not too overpowering It kind of reminds me of the shrimp fried rice you have when you go to hibachi. My friend had the jerk chicken wings and It had a nice smoked flavor to it.The rum punch was entirely too strong for me but it had a nice flavor.
