Stopped in on our way home from vacation, but my spouse grew up in the area and we hadn’t been here since they changed from Double Play. It feels nice and updated, open and not packed in. We had two pizzas which were awesome. Server was very kind and helped us right away since the kitchen was closing early (likely staffing, which is understandable). We had 4 small children with and aside from the 1.5 year old having a meltdown, it all went really well. Food was hot, beer was cold. We were happy and will definitely be back when are back in the area.

Food was delicious! Burgers were hot and juicy, fries were crisp and on point. Establishment was spacious and clean. Employee was very nice. Only thing that was a downfall for attention to detail was the mustard container lid was nasty (turn off for me to use)

Worst wrap I’ve ever had. Dry fried chicken, mostly breading. The side salad was OKAY, at least they used romaine, but then I was charged 3 dollars for club soda, and 2 for the side salad. What?

Two thumbs up!! Visiting Blue Earth from out of town, I’m glad we chose Average Joe’s for lunch! The chicken caesar salad was delicious and the traditional wings (buffalo & garlic parmesan) were full of flavor! Will most definitely visit again!!

If you are ever visiting Blue Earth Minnesota….visiting Average Jo’s should be a must. We have 3 different kinds of Pizza, Cod and French Fries and Garlic Parm wings. The staff was amazing…..A must have…..

Our server is always friendly. It is a basic small town sleepy bar with a clean sterile feel. Not small or cozy, it is spread out over a large area. The stools are not comfortable… you slide off so choose a hard chair…again not comfortable, but the food is decent. The cod is pretty good and the gouda burger is great. Our son likes their wings or pizza.
