Hopefully this doesn’t come across as offensive but this is like a better chipotle everything you like about them but better! Better rice, better salsa, better chips. Just better! I got the chips and salsa comes with 3 sauces one hot (green one) two not as spicy for kids. I got the bowl with skirt steak very high quality and perfect portion. I will be back!

A great, modern spot to get some delicious Mexican food with some worldly food-fusion from other locations. Very unassuming entrance which brings you into a well lit indoor area with simplified modern decor. The portion sizes are good and the staff are really friendly/helpful.

Service: the server had a huge language barrier and couldn’t understand what I was saying. I wanted the hot honey but substituted the meat with tofu and I told him 3 times…came out with tofu tacos. Not what I ordered at all. Completely wrong. And he was very rude about it.

I travel for work a lot and stumbled upon this place while working in hood river. Hands down the best tacos I’ve had here. The margs are great too. Good Portion for the tacos as well. The spice was just right and was so flavorful overall. I had the Al pastor tacos. Didn’t even have time to take a picture of them I was so excited. Will 100% be coming back here. A secret little gem in Hood river definitely.

Modern Taco was a delight with great organic options. Their menu was very fresh and delicious. They definitely love blending cuisine. Highly recommend! The fish tacos were tremendous and the hot habanero margarita and the Seared ahi tuna bowl was delicious.

I wandered into modern taco for a lunch stop, and had a great meal. The queso was served in a tiny skillet(cute points). I had the mafa chicken bao buns, which were delicious. Service was on point.
