We are a Ann Arbor based Mexican restaurant located inside of the Zal Gaz Grotto Club. We offer limited service dine in and carry out, we do not have waitstaff but we do have a comfortable and welcoming space to eat in or on our patio (weather permitting). We also offer a full range of alcoholic beverages and live music events on-site through the Zal Gaz Grotto Club!
Our concept is Chef owned and our cuisine is exceptionally fresh, progressive and flavorful using only the best local ingredients we can find. Come taste the difference!

Kind service. Hours are confusing, call ahead to verify. Food is delicious with vegan and vegetarian options. Their pickled vegetables were my favorite part of the tacos I ordered. The salsas are very mild in spice but the pickled veggies were pretty spicy.

It’s such a hidden gem! We stopped by a few weeks ago and we’ve been back multiple times since then! The food is amazing! Everything is Fresh, flavorful, spicy, and service is quick and friendly. I’ve had the lamb, cauliflower, and chicken tacos, the nachos, queso, and. guacamole. My husband always gets the beef Birria quesadilla. Never had a bad meal and definitely recommend.

I really thought this place was going to be awesome because of all the great reviews. I was mistaken. I got the Birria tacos and quesadilla. Both were horrible. The guacamole that I ordered was simply mashed avocado. I think the only thing that was good was the salsa verde and the chips, which the owner was kind enough to throw in for free. I am so disappointed, I honestly would just love a refund. I think the people are sweet, but the food was not great.

We ordered Cosa Sabrosa a few weeks ago for carry-out as I follow them on IG and had been dying to try the birria tacos. I absolutely LOVED them. We don’t eat pork or beef in my household so it was so nice to finally find a place that does chicken birria tacos. I am dying to try their quesadilla next time. I went to order again a week or two ago and the only thing that kept me from doing it was there was a long wait time but I dont consider this a negative. I just didn’t have the patience to wait lol.
