This restaurant is very disappointing, both in terms of price and hygiene. I came to eat here based on recommendations from others, who said it was authentic Sichuan cuisine. However, after eating a dish of fish-flavored shredded pork there, I had diarrhea when I got home. At first, my husband thought it might not be the restaurant’s food that caused the diarrhea, so we had leftovers from there for another meal the next day. However, I got diarrhea again, which shows that their hygiene is a big problem. In addition, their menu prices are astonishingly high. The decor is not very upscale and the restaurant just gives an ordinary home-cooked meal vibe, so I don’t think the customers should pay for any high-class decor. Their spicy cold chicken costs $19, and sliced beef and ox tongue in chili sauce (which is called Husband & Wife in their menu) costs $15, which is far more expensive than other Chinese restaurants’ cold dishes. I will not go there again.

Good food! The waiter was also very nice and caring. The only thing that should be improved is the frog, which is a bit overcooked and tasted not very tender.

First off I almost left before ordering due to the state of the restruant. Small not very clean my shoes even stuck a bit to the floor and the menus just felt well grimy. But I was convinced to stay by a hungry friend. So we got spicy noodles, spicy pork, and beef fried rice. The spicy pork (not all that spicy) & beef fried rice were good, meat was tender and they had a good taste. The spicy noodles well maybe they were just not for us, as they had a very strong metallic taste so we did not eat them. Over all two dishes where good one not so much, and sadly it was not very clean

Had the spicy cabbage, frog, and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was just ok, but the other two dishes were great. The frog had a great texture and didn’t taste fishy with a good numbing spice profile. The cabbage was actually my favorite. The staff was nice. Order a Beijing yogurt. It’s just a sweet yogurt, but can offset the spice.

This place is authentic and delicious food. These other reviews are absolute trash and mostly lies, written by delusional Karens with no idea what Sichuan food is. People saying they had allergic reactions when the numbing peppercorns are literally foundational to Sichuan cuisine.

The taste is not outstanding but with a good value. Mapo tofu is good.

Really good Sichuan food. Superbly tongue and mouth numbing dishes that for some reason make you want to eat more. The boiled beef dish was extremely salty when I went, but the lamb on a stick was perfect. The rice cakes are soft, nice and tasty. Rice is $1. I highly recommend you get rice lol, you’ll need it. The Beijing yogurt ($3) is like a mild drinkable yogurt, and if you need to cool down it helps.

We ordered three dishes: spicy sour pan fried potato, deep fried tofu with spicy sauce, spicy dry pot for to go and waited for 20 minutes. The food is not bad and price is reasonable, though sometimes the food can be too salty.
