A hidden gem we were looking for Japanese sushi place near Montrose and lucky for us we found Sakana! When I first walked up the entry was so welcoming. The servers were so friendly and helpful when my husband asked questions. Then the food came! (See picture) everything was so good!! We will surely be back for more!!

By luck of google i believe I’ve found my new favorite sushi place hands down. We came in here midday for a late lunch and were greeted with friendly chefs and welcoming wait staff. Every order of sushi was perfectly balanced and fresh and even their rolls were tasty and not overflowing with rice. We will definitely be coming back to try more items on their menu and see what else they will surprise us with. Highly recommend !

Service could have been a lot better. But, the food presentation was appetizing, and they had a wide selection of food. However, I thought the food lacked authenticity and tasted too Korean. Their yellowtail collar was on the dry side, too.

Great sushi, better prices. They currently have a 50% off promotion during covid so i try to order from them once a week. Can’t go wrong with any of the specialty rolls. I always try to throw in some extra CA rolls because it’s so cheap I usually eat a lot. Only problem is that the wait on the weekend can be anywhere from 45min – 1.5hrs. Just call in the order before you get too hungry.

I’ve got to say that this was one of my least favorite sushi places I’ve ever eaten. The quality of the food was terrible especially given the ridiculous prices and small portions. Both my wife and I felt nauseous after eating here. The atmosphere didn’t help either.. they had this nerve-wracking dubstep music blaring. Overall terrible experience. Even the poor koi outside of the restaurant were sitting in stagnant dirty looking water. No filter or pump running. Whoever owns this place really needs a reality check.
