I used to look forward to stopping in for breakfast on the weekends. However, on my most recent visit we were ignored at the counter for far too long, then once someone came to take our order she was the least enthusiastic person ever. I get it – the staff definitely isn’t paid enough to put up with the general public, but this was something else. The gravy was bland. The biscuits were so-so. It was better than going hungry, but it didn’t make me want to come back.

I don’t want to give them too hard a time. I hit the drive through during slow hours. Service was fine, fast and friendly, so no problem there. But the fries were impressively stale. Tasted like they had been under the heat lamp far too long. And I couldn’t finish the burger I had either.

I used to love this place, but to me, it has gone downhill. They no longer have milkshakes. Their burger was dry, and they said they didn’t have curly fries and didn’t know when or if they would get more. The employee was rude to me when i asked why they no longer have milkshakes. This was my go-to fast food place. I haven’t been back to a Hardee’s in months.

On Thanksgiving day, while cooking the turkey, (seen below), the kids got hungry. We went all over town and only Hardee’s had enough staff to be open, all others were closed. Got hot ham and cheese sandwiches, hot dogs and fries. The entire meal was delicious and now I’m wondering why we don’t go there more often. Would recommend to anyone considering getting something quick.

Order a mushroom an Swiss burger add bacon get home and look at the sandwich and it had 2 tiny mushrooms on it and our fries were cold and old and my burger had brown lettuce on it and 2 tiny onions definitely not going back.
