Stop what you’re doing and do yourself a favor and stop by the new taqueria in town. The tacos are phenomenal, and the burrazo has lots of heft to it. This is our second time back and we are hooked. The sopapillas are delightful, and the store has lots of goodies to choose from to take home. We tried the salsa verde plantain chips. Super reasonable prices.

Fantastic Birria tacos. They are so good, I haven’t bothered to order anything else. But I will eventually try more of the menu. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona and love Mexican food. This is as good as anything I’ve had there.

I love this place so much. I’m a huge fan of birria tacos and they are really hard to find in Ames, not anymore! Their quesabirria tacos are FIRE, it’s so dang good. Seriously, top of the list of what I’ve had. I tried pupusa for the first time with them and now I have to get one ever time I put in an order. I love having an online ordering system and I love all the “extras” you get with your order. I always get a few different salsas, grilled onions and whole peppers, and cooked carrot and potato along with shredded cabbage. It’s seriously a feast every time I get food there and it’s all so good.

Super great value for the quantity of food! The chorizo and chicken tacos are both wonderful, and my husband really enjoyed his burrito. We also loved the tamales and horchata! The market side of things is just what North Ames needed! They have a lot of authentic products that can’t be found elsewhere in Ames, and the staff was very helpful!
