Food is pretty good large portions! Was able to feed myself and my son and still have tons of leftovers. I also got a potato ball was not a big fan but everything is was good! Their sancocho is delicious too perfect for a cold day with some white rice a little pricey but with the amount of left overs we had I would say it was worth it.

I’m not from Lowell so I thought I’d stop by as it has the best reviews and honestly it was a let down. I got the bistew onions and peppers ( my favorite meal, I never get anything else) and this by far has been the worst one I’ve tried. The rice was grainy but moist and the steak was chewy… and that’s the part that really got me. I’ve never had chewy bistec… not sure if it’s cheaper steak or the way it was cooked but very much a let down for texture, the flavor was decent ( the sauce was good, steak not too flavorful itself). My boyfriend got carne guisado and the flavor intensity was a solid 6, the meat was tender though! Rice and gandules was dry. The coke was probably the best part, minimalistic atmosphere. We were gonna do dine-in but for obvious reasons chose takeout and at at a local park. Overall, try the next place ..

Today I spent $64 on food that didn’t taste good. It was cold , they also forgot two of my other empanadas. I got $7 worth of pernil which like looked like it was $3 worth. Everything was overpriced.

They are so not worth the money. They way over charge for the food.They food was some what warm. They are cheap with the food. They didn’t season the yucca. They lied what is suppose to come with the meal and instead they charge for it. They didn’t have all the drinks that they advertised. They also forgot one of my drinks as well. The way they changed things around is very disappointing you used to be able to go through an order what you want specifically now you have to pay first and order and it is very confusing especially for people who do not speak Spanish all I wanted was two plates of food and once I ordered my check was 50 something dollars this is the third time this has happened since they changed it around. I was given basically a week’s worth of food as usually one plate I can eat two or three times I don’t think I will be going back I wish it was the old way I’m sure it their was too many people waiting to pay at the old register but it can still be done the old way and paying at the new register location and maybe not be such of a line

Food is subpar and the guy serving the food was rude to my daughter for not “speaking clearly” for him to understand “you are too big to speak like that” is what he told her, we were quite taken aback at the hostility, lack of courtesy and ignorance displayed by this horrible man, my daughter had a speech impairment for which she went to therapy for when she was younger, she’s definitely come a long way, needless to say we are definitely not returning to this establishment ever.
