Breakfast was so good… We got pancakes, and the “Maple Valley” which is essentially a deconstructed eggs benedict w/ biscuits and gravy instead of an english muffin.

Stockton’s is a slightly updated traditional diner style restaurant. The atmosphere isn’t anything special but the place was clean and organized. We had their buffalo wings, which were very crispy and delicious, as well as their French dip sandwich with a side of fries. The fries are also golden brown crispy, the sandwich was a bit bland but not bad. The only lacking part of our visit was the waitress. She was very pleasant and friendly but service was quite slow, we had to wait 15 minutes for refills, and after she brought out our appetizer she never came back to ask if we wanted to order anything else, not until we flagged her down.

They have some breakfast items available all day, with good portions. The steak salad was perfect! Last time I was here I had a steak dinner which was awesome as well. The crispy Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good. However everything was a bit pricey. They serve a local maple valley wine brand and it was nice. Service is good but they just started using a new payment system the server brings to the table and this visit apparently our bill was switched with another customer that already paid our higher bill so the server had to wrestle with fixing it. We enjoy the restaurant and the food the few times we have been in and will keep coming back.

We get there at 415pm on sun and I have to set up for poker. The bartender is little busy and say she will take our order in few mins. I start setting up for poker and then 35m9ns go by and person I came with still hasn’t gotten to be served or her order taken. The bartender is only focused on people at bar and serving them. When I goto ask about us to get our order in I GET YELLED AT? Now no other place I goto to eat do I have to go up to place a order to get food to eat. If I’m getting yelled at to place a order after 35mins pf no service than maybe there need to be 2 bartender no 1. There is no reason I should have to beg to eat food at a restaurant where I should be the one to get service.

This is a great place to grab a bite if you want a home spun feel in the restaurant, and if the mood strikes you to enter a dive bar, walk around the corner and hopefully Gabe the bartender is working. Hes the kind of awesome guy to make you feel right at home like you belong, but the other bartenders have been nice too. Belly up to the bar for a stiff drink and a cold one!
