I had the best hamburger that I’ve had in years at Windy City today. Custom burgers, buns made fresh daily, and meat ground in store made for a unique, excellent experience! The staff went out of their way to help and check on customers, and were friendly and courteous. I had the Irving burger and garlic Parmesan fries today, and can’t wait to get back there to try some of the other selections. The burger was cooked perfectly, the bun was fresh, and the Irving’s toppings were paired just right. The fries were crispy, hot, and the garlic Parmesan was better than any place I’ve had them. Portions were very generous. The meat on the burger and the custom bun sets them apart from any other burger place in Greenville!

We were in town for a wedding and were looking for an easy lunch spot near our hotel so I found Windy City burgers. This spot is a bit small inside so we decided to take our food to go, but the friendly service and the food made up for it. There was a slight line right at opening but the staff was apologetic and made us feel welcome. The Damen burger was so unique. I’ve never had Doritos on a burger but the crunch added a nice texture. The other in my group got the Windy City burger with varying toppings and said they were great. We all shared the buffalo blue fries which had a nice ratio of toppings to fries. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone in Greenville or anyone passing through!

The buns and burgers are delicious. The service from the cashiers/servers and cooks was great, too. The fries left a lot to be desired. I wasn’t a fan that they were fried twice. My partner also wasn’t impressed by the size of the fries. They were very short fries. He called them “baby fries.” If I went back, I would see if it were possible to not fry them twice. I like a softer fry.

Best burgers in Greenville, hands down! Greeted with a smile, excellent service, and a cozy vibe. Mile high burgers and fries to match. Burgers made to order and a few brews on tap. If you want a burger on Main Street, this is where you want to go. All the other burger places on Main Street pale in comparison. This is now going to be our go to spot for burgers! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

First timer and we will be back. Enjoyed the staff as they had a talk with us to discuss the menu options. The burgers were juicy and delicious, the fries were excellent. It is a lot of food and may require a nap afterwards but it is worth a visit. Had the Damen burger, sounds strange but is is delicious. The doritos add some texture and the street corn added some pop. The buns were soft and fresh. It is a small place but they handled the volume without issue.

I don’t go to downtown Greenville often, but when I do, it’s for a very specific purpose.

I enjoyed the experience. The service was fast. The place was clean. The staff was amazing and friendly. Sullie was a gentleman. The food was very good. Fries where well done and crunchy a little hard to eat the blue cheese fries w plastic but enjoyable. Burger was nicely done. Other guest seemed to be satisfied and enjoying the food. There was no wait. Flawless experience.

Absolutely loved the food and service here. One of The Best Burgers either of us have had anywhere in years. I would handa down recommend this spot to anyone if you want a flavorful, cooked how you want it, with cheese and toppings options patron. The ambiance is simple, with indoor or outdoor seating, tin platters for plates and paper towel rolls on the tables. This simple ambiance reduces what is typically a $25-30 burger at a high end restaurant spot to an affordable burger joint with amazing flavor. Go visit Windy City, tip your waitress and enjoy!

Absolutely phenomenal! We are picky about our burgers and this awesome place hit the spot! And the garlic parm fries are out of this world. We definitely will be back. I recommend going during a down town in between meals because they only have a few tables. We went around 2pm on a Sunday and it was perfect timing to get a table.
