The food was delish. Owner and staff were pleasant and attentive. But there is so much more to this place. Garden statues, garden art, firepots, plants, The gift shop has the most unique items. Picknick baskets, hand blown glass over beach wood vases, composit chairs and tables, waterfountains, fire pits, plants…amazing collection of unique table ware, party or serving dishes. You just have to go and experience it all.

Where else can you go for an amazing meal, gorgeous art and spectacular flowers? Right here at the garden cafe. The service is amazing, super friendly and inviting. The food is delicious. We ordered breakfast and the hash brown casserole is TO DIE FOR! I am SO glad we are moving here because this is going to be one or my regular places to visit. Portions were not too big and the overall experience was not just 5 star but a full 10 stars in my book.

We decided to make the 90-minute drive to The Garden Cafe because we had such a great meal the last time we were there. Unfortunately, today was a huge disappointment. The food was good, but service and wait time were horrendous. The place was only about half full, but after we were seated, we sat for at least 15 minutes before our server came around to take drink orders. And during those 15 minutes, we saw other people come in after us and get waited on right away. After ordering, we waited a full hour for our food to come out. Two other tables came in, ordered, ate, and left before we even got our food! The two young ladies who were serving stayed busy and we understand that they were most likely understaffed. But our server never made eye contact and never even spoke to us. We had to ask for everything – cream for the coffee, butter for the biscuits, refills on the coffee, even the check. We won’t make the mistake of going back there again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else unless the management makes an effort to correct these big issues.

The food at the Garden Cafe is excellent. The Cajun omelette is fantastic, the burgers are great and even the salad dressings are delicious. The staff is very kind. And as a bonus the garden/gift shop has beautiful, quality items.

Edit: TERRIBLE SERVICE at this restaurant we waited for 1 hr after we were given table to sit and still no food served. And we were told that our food prep is not even started. Many people came after us were served. We were told to leave without any food.
