We tried this BBQ place after reading some Yelp reviews. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent. The coffee BBQ sauce had a hint of coffee but tasted great. They have brisket smash burgers. These are also really great tasting. So far, Slow Hand Craft BBQ is my favorite BBQ in Peoria. Wish they’d open one in Bloomington.

We must have gone at a bad time because the ribs were kind of burnt and not good everything looked as if it had been sitting for a while. The cucumber tomatoes onion salad was really good, the pulled pork had a really good taste but again you could tell it wasn’t fresh and the Mac n cheese had a really good flavor but here again it had that gritty look and feel to the cheese because it had been sitting for a while and wasn’t fresh or hot. The service was great and the people were really nice though.

Stopped in for lunch with 3 teenager’s. One had a double cheeseburger with fries. The other two shared a two meat platter of brisket/pulled pork, mac & cheese,ff. I had 1/2 rack of spare ribs, baked beans, & ff. We also shared bbq pulled pork fries. The food was amazing. The portions were generous. We came home with leftovers. The service was excellent. We also enjoyed taste testing the different varieties of sauce they have. Good BBQ isn’t cheap. This was definitely worth the cost.

We stopped in later afternoon on Saturday for dinner. Ordered the Kona and the Belly & slaw sandwiches. There was a very short wait for our order. The food came out hot and delicious! I couldn’t finish my sandwich, it was so filling, I tried though. Looking forward to eating here again.

Hands down, the best BBQ I’ve had in my life. I’ve been to KC and Texas, but their brisket beat them both by a mile! Highly recommend the coffee BBQ Sauce as well. Will definetly be back!

Came here with my family for the first time. We moved two tables together. A man with a bun came out and freaked out on us and told us not to move “our” tables. Was EXTREMELY aggressive for no reason. I understand the tables, but come up to us and tell us with respect. He completely ruined our evening with my brother, who is home from the military. We left immediately. I will never ever return to this establishment.

I had just walked in with my family and it was self seating and we began to move tables so we could sit together when this extremely rude man with a bun approached us and rudely began taking the tables apart with our stuff on them. He could have been so much nicer about the situation but chose to be condescending and not even treat us like customers. We have never left a place faster. My brother was so excited to eat here after being away from home for so long.

This food is so delicious! I am giving a 4 start review because on a Saturday night, at 6:30 pm they had ran out of brisket, rib tips and corn bread… maybe it was just last night, but I recommend to call before you go to Check what they have available. It is also a pretty small place,so I recommend to take out if you can.
