The Turtle and the Tiger
Probably one of the most disappointing experiences with Chinese take-out I’ve ever had. I ordered online, 4 items. Won-ton soup, Chicken fingers, Pork lo mien, and General Tso’s Chicken. The soup. Too thick wrapper in an egg drop soup that had very little flavor other than a flavor I can only describe as a lemon-lime soda after taste. Chicken fingers: chicken was tender, but flavor less. Breading was way undercooked and still wet and doughy. Pork Lo Mien lacked flavor, noodles were way overcooked. General Tso’s chicken: I’ve ordered this all over the country as it is one of my favorites. This ranked at the bottom of the list as far as I was concerned. Some of the toughest chicken pieces clearly done in a single fry (under fried at that) in a sauce that was neither spicy, nor tangy. Just goopy. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is that the online ordering process was seamless, and they were nice when I picked up the food.

Ordered takeout from here last night in keeping with our new family tradition of takeout Chinese on Christmas Eve. It was great; the food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious! The staff was very pleasant and we look forward to eating here more often.

If you’re looking for the stereotypical Chinese place, IE worn menus, cracked linoleum floors, offhand vending machine…etc you’re in the right place. The food here is so good that you get excited to order.
