Overall I give them a 5 for warmth,hospitality and fresh seafood. Very welcoming when you walk through the door, the decor is charming and the food is delicious. They are kind enough to show you how to shell and eat crawdad if it’s your first time(it was mine) and you won’t find food like this anywhere else in Sussex county. Everything tastes homemade and I’m looking forward to the next time I can go.

Stopped here tonight for a couple of lobster rolls to take home. Was greeted by a couple of cute young kids who were very welcoming. Just finished dinner and all and all, I’m impressed. You don’t expect to find a good lobster roll in Sussex county and this was great. Lots of lobster meat on a toasted potato roll with home made potato chips. I wish these guys a lot of luck. A bit hard to find (on a side street between the main drag and the parking lot).

Ordered the lobster roll plate. Came with 3 huge lobster rolls. One classic, one buffalo, and my favorite was an Asian style roll. Will def be back for more. The restaurant is byob and there is a liquor store at the top of the hill on Spring street, so don’t hesitate to pair your seafood with some good beer or wine.

I’m going to review the food and the atmosphere because I don’t believe my experience was a common one. Two servers and a cook called out the night we were there, so it was rightfully a disaster from that point of view. However, the owner served us and could not have been more charming or accommodating, especially when I said it was my mother’s birthday. He offered an item that wasn’t even on the menu (mussels, cooked in garlic and Riesling) which was EXCELLENT and you should try to get them if you get the chance. My “shell shock,” a lobster and crawfish combo plate, was without fault. The place reminds me of sitting in a restaurant somewhere in bayou country off the Mississippi River – a very good thing for the meals they serve. I think I’d try going back during the week and hope that things are calmer!

The Crawfish Festival was in town today. My boyfriend and I arrived at the festival in the evening, were charged admission, and literally every food vendor at the festival was shut down. We were so disappointed and hungry for Crawfish!! Luckily, my boyfriend had heard of Pearson’s and suggested we check it out to get our craw fix. It was late and the place was ready to close up for the night, but the owner and waitress were super accommodating and were happy to boil us up some spicy Cajun Crawfish. I’ve never had Crawfish before and now I’m addicted!! They were delicious, the sauce was incredible, and some amazing sausage and corn was mixed into the pot. The price was right, the food was wonderful and the crew was top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Met friends last evening here for dinner, the lobster rolls were excellent and the lobster superb, service was warm and friendly and they even take the time to crack the whole lobster for you. I would definitely recommend this little gem of a restaurant and will definitely be returning !!

I was in the pburg location. The steamers were phenomenal, the chowder was amazing, but the lobster roll…oh my god the lobster roll. I’ve had them in Boston and in Maine…and I’ve never had better. Eric is a craftsman at the top of his game.
